It’s a classic case of brainwashing and mind control, where you just keep repeating it over and over again. Just keep heaping criticism on Paul over and over repeatedly. And it doesn’t even matter if those criticisms are unproven or even absurd, the person will start to not trust Paul, even though they may not know why, they just have those feelings of distrust and dislike about him because of the repeated brainwashing.
