the unique thing about the US dollar is that it is the global reserve currency. That means, for US People when the dollar index goes up all the prices of the commodities go down. so, if all US Americans invest in the US dollar all our prices for food and gas and oil would drop. Also the main reasons prices are rising now is because the US dollar index has been at about .75 ave. for over five years now. save it and save us all.. end of story.
It is a legit question because it relies on the same flawed logic and broad assumptions that I see so many Christians, including Alex, engaging in. This is(obviously) a sore subject for me personally. Not because in reality I don’t like or am against Christians. In fact, I’d stand with most of them before I would just about any others. The problem is, as these misleading things are spread Christians are becoming so ridiculously touchy that it is they who won’t stand by you, calling you satanic
‘Pagan’ seems to have become a catch all word for ‘satanism’ or the NWO et al. The promoters of Christianity and the empire that did the most to establish it arguably murdered more peoples and destroyed more cultures than these ‘evil’ pagans did. Pagans did not prosyletize their religions as a tool of conquering like the Christians did. Are Christians thus ‘satanic’?
Modern pagans are often self deluded as well. They believe in and push things that have no real connection to the ancient peoples they claim to emulate. I have no doubt personally, that many of these same ancient peoples would be every bit as offended by much of what we are offended by as well. Family destruction, oppressive government, high technoilogy being used to soft kill, etc. The list is long. Not all pagans sacrificed humans nor believed in the same things.
Christian priests have been hustling people for centuries as well. You can’t sell lies and distortions without hustling it. Of course many don’t do it intentionally, but the deceived, deceive others when they keep the thing going by spreading what was not true from the beginning.
Just to clarify, I have no problem with either the bomb or the knife. Peoples manner of making war and killing often varies between cultures, for me, one isn’t any worse or any better than the other. However, I will say this, those who don’t have the stomach or constitution to be as brutal and violent as possible in war ought to then consider not engaging in it.
Just like today, we see the ‘thraot cutters’ as ‘barbaric’ but have no problem dropping a 500 lb bomb on someone and killing them in a way we deem ‘clean’, even ‘moral’. War is war and persdonally if I felt like chopping some people up might terrify my enemy into backing off, I would do it without hesitation or moral compunction. Then as now, people are absolutely pompous when it comes to their own way of killing. Dead is dead however it is accomplished.
In reality what took place that shocked and angered the Romans was the fact that should any of their soldiers and especially men of rank be caught in battle, they could well find themselves being beheaded or tortured. Big difference between battlefield actions and human sacrifice as a matter of course. The Romans were hypocrites however, because they would often ritualistically strangle captured enemies as well.
